Francis Brown Limited, the Stockton on Tees based fabrication and engineering business, has secured over £1million in only a few weeks by agreeing to deliver a series of projects to leading global companies.
The family run business has ensured four new contracts that are all scheduled to be completed by the end of the first quarter next year.
Mark Roddy, the Managing Director at Francis Brown, said about the contracts: We are delighted with our recent contract wins which really demonstrate Francis Brownâs core ability to transfer our world class engineering and welding excellence across a diverse range of sectors to deliver our unique and tailored solutions.
One of the projects includes working with one of Francisâ existing clients, SMD, the global supplier of subsea equipment. Having worked very closely with SMD in recent months, we are delighted to have secured an additional contract and continue to build our relationship with the company. Repeat orders are true testament that Francis Brown delivers on what we promise; HSE, specification, schedule and within budget, said Mark.
As well as working with its current clients, Francis has also developed new partnerships, one of them with a leading oil and gas company in Aberdeen. Mark said: Having seen a dip in contracts being awarded across the whole supply chain in the oil and gas sector, there are some signs the market is shifting positively, and as such, securing this contract highlights to Francis Brown that the future is promising in the sector with some investment starting to ripple through to tier two suppliers.
By securing these contracts across multiple sectors â oil and gas, renewable energy and petrochemical â Francis believes that there is prosperity in the opportunities for engineering and manufacturing businesses in the North East to provide work in the global wind sector. With this news ahead, the companyâs CEO Jamie Brown, wants to promote the regionâs abilities to be employed in recently announced and future wind energy projects.
